>>>Then there's the Mike McGear album I've been told I should hear, about >>You're kidding? You haven't heard that album yet? >I've only ever seen 1 or 2 copies from my 17 years or so of visiting used >record stores. Guess I better ramp it up a notch... Okay, is this the only lp? Where I am at there is a record shop that you never know what is going to show up (heck I have found Wayne County and the Electric Chairs there (not Jayne, Wayne) including the hard to find/overpriced Blatently Offensive EP). Klaatu wise in this guys shop is a Capital Selftitled (though with an inner plain white sleave and it was the store owners copy and he said that is how he got it when the lp came out) and a SAS with Crapital promo hole. Ironically at another shop a few weeks ago, a copy of Hope that has seen better days and a copy of ES that the Vinyl looks like it was never played (that brand spanking new look). But this shop ramps their prices up and sometimes does not on items that they should. Go figure. When I lived in NY I always offered to go looking (like I need an excuse) or at least say it's Shop XYZ here is their number at 555-1212 etc ... Alex PS I was going to use the pun for the first shop as being like a microcosm in a jar, but, did not want to start the boo's and hisses so early back.
