Andrew Grantham (former list member) has an account on youtube.com under the
name Klaatu42.
He specializes in taking footage of animals with their mouths moving that
people send to him, and recording all new sound for the videos (including very
excellent sound effects and volume swells and changes as the animal moves their
mouth in relation to the "microphone") that really look like the animal is
talking ! Does this make a normal adult think that the animal is really
talking? No. Most people with any intelligence realize that the video may or
may not be real, but that the conversation is entirely overdubbed and fake.
Apparently, though, NOT EVERYONE!
Andrew posted a video on youtube that went viral internationally with over 5
million views in just the first couple of days on youtube. It is called a "dog
tease" and has a dog "talking" to an offcamera person (who we can only see the
knees of) about food that the person found in the fridge and ate or gave to the
dog.
Some total freaking moron flagged it as abusive and the video got taken offline
by youtube!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!
It gets better!
People are coming out of the woodwork and emailing ME using the contact form on
the klaatu.org website to complain that KLAATU have forced youtube to take the
video down and threatening to not buy any Klaatu related merchandise because of
it!
AND, one person even went so far as to say Klaatu had emailed them and told
them they could download the video for free from their website, but when they
went there they were told there would be a $10 charge to download the video!
All this because his name on youtube is klaatu42?
Give me a break! If a youtube user was name "Robert" would that automatically
mean that anyone with a website named robert would automatically be connected
with that youtube account?
IDIOTS! The WORLD IS FULL of IDIOTS!
