You can use KisMAC to sniff out your network packets. While I'm not sure about the cracking within the program, you can use another (I use Aircrack) to crack a network. No, you can't use the Airport card, but why would you want to? I have two additional cards for this purpose. I have an Orinoco Gold card that works great for long distance snooping and a Linksys card (v2.6) that works great for Packet reinjection and active attacks.

Tested on Panther and Tiger, but might work on all X OSes.....

- Tiger: method not supported. the patch for the sf driver is not yet ported
to Tiger.



Has anyone began to look at what it would take to port the patch? Would the programming changes to patch it be similar or totally different?



PRISMGT CARDS

USB PRISM2 DEVICES
On all Mac OSes, flash the firmware following this set of instructions and
the Windows exe firmware patcher from
http://www.frars.org.uk/cgi-bin/render.pl?pageid=1109.
Note: Do this at own risk!



Is there a Mac based flasher, or do we really have to flash it in Windows? Does it hurt the card if one does it repeatedly?
