OK, now it's my turn to ask for help.

I've been following the instructions in the trac to attempt to change the regulatory domain and MAC address of my Prism2 MA111. So I loaded up the patcher, the firmware and everything inside VPC, and reflashed away. It got the primary firmware on there OK, but the secondary firmware "couldn't be written to RAM - not supported".

No change in MAC address OR regulatory domain. Still stuck with channels 1-11 and the same MAC address.
Except... the MA111 no longer works with KisMac. It works with the OS X Prism2 drivers, I can set up an IBSS between two machines and ping each other - i even logged in through SSH over it. However, the real problem being... it doesn't work with KisMac.

Here's a console log:

... and so on. That goes on forever. Well, forever-ish until I either rip the adaptor out, or force-quit KisMac.

Does anyone have any firmware images that they KNOW work and will flash to the MA111?

I know my MA111's not completely screwed, as it seems to work when NOT in monitor mode.

It does the same thing on 3 different Macs, with 3 different versions of kismac (r76p on one, r121 on another, r127 on another).

BTW, Station firmware was updated. Maybe the new version was incompatible.

Here's what WinUpateFlash says about the existing firmware: http:// x9.ath.cx/ma111brick/Picture37.png

It WAS on 1.13 / 1.81 before I started. Now it's back on that, and not working.
