I noticed this behaviour with 0.07a as well.
It isn't how kismac normally behaves -- it usually adds new items to
the bottom without having to play with the window size -- so this is
just an artifact of the alpha version, I suspect it will be fixed in
the next iteration.

I took Kismac on a little neighborhood drive and my screen quickly
flooded with dozens of networks. I noticed that after the screen fills
up, new networks stop appearing and the scrollbar does not appear. If
I resize the window, the new networks are added to the screen and the
scrollbar appears.
