Skoda hat im November seine weltweiten Auslieferungen im Vorjahresvergleich um
9,6 Prozent auf insgesamt 97.500 Fahrzeuge gesteigert. Grund für die positive

Renault und Nissan wollen die nächsten Elektroautos Zoe und Leaf auf einer

Hertz ersetzt CEO und verkleinert Vorstand
Die US-Auto-Vermietung Hertz Global Holdings hat am 13. Dezember mitgeteilt, im
kommenden Januar seinen CEO entlassen und den Vorstand verkleinern zu wollen.
Das Vorhaben wird vom größten Anteilseigner Carl Icahn unterstützt. Hertz
zufolge wird CEO John Tague am 2. Januar zurücktreten, etwa zwei Jahre nachdem
er die Position mit Unterstützung von Icahn erhalten hatte. Auf ihn folgt
Kathryn Marinello, die im Vorstand von AB Volvo und General Motors sitzt.

Skoda reports substantially higher sales
Skoda posted global deliveries of 97,500 vehicles in November, up 9.6 percent
over the same month a year ago. The positive sales development is primarily
down to strong demand in China, where deliveries rose 12.1 percent, and in

Renault and Nissan are set to build the next Zoe and Leaf electric cars on a
new common platform, aiming to achieve economies of scale. The models will have

Hertz to replace CEO, cut board size
U.S. car rental company Hertz Global Holdings said on December 13 it will
replace its CEO and reduce its board size in January, moves backed by its

The European Commission has imposed a settlement fine of 166 million euros on a
trio of Japanese manufacturers for operating the price-fixing cartel. Sony,

collude to fix prices, competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager said on
