Magna beginnt mit Bau von neuer Sitzfabrik für BMW
Magna hat den Bau einer neuen Sitzfabrik gestartet, aus der die BMW-Produktion
in Spartanburg in den USA beliefert werden soll. Dadurch entstehen bis 2020

Panasonic erweitert Haushaltsgerätegeschäft in Indien
Panasonic plant, mit der lokalen Produktion von Kühlschränken in Indien zu
beginnen und seine Forschungs- und Entwicklungsfunktionen (F&E) dort zu
unterstützen. Das Unternehmen will sein Haushaltsgerätegeschäft in dem Land
ausweiten, indem es F&E, Produktion und Vertrieb zügig der lokalen Nachfrage
anpasst. Die neue Fabrik befindet sich im Technopark in Jhajjar, Haryana. Die
jährliche Produktionskapazität wird 500.000 Einheiten betragen. Ab November

Apple mit erstem Windkraft-Deal in China

Kia Motor is to start assembling vehicles in Pakistan, according to a local
partner that is planning to invest 12 billion rupees (115 million dollars) to
set up a plant and manufacture the Kia cars. Lucky Cement, which is part of the

Apple inks first wind power deal in China
Apple has said that it will partner with Goldwind, the world's biggest wind
turbine manufacturer, in projects in China that will generate 285 megawatts of
wind power. The move marks the U.S. company's first foray into wind power and
is its biggest clean energy project to date, according to Lisa Jackson, vice
president of environment, policy and social initiatives at Apple. According to
Goldwind, Apple has bought 30 percent of equity in four companies to run four
wind power projects in the provinces of Henan, Shandong, Shanxi and Yunnan.
