SAIC mit Gewinnsteigerung von 6,5 Prozent für 2015
Die chinesische SAIC Motor hat seinen Nettogewinn 2015 im Vergleich zum Vorjahr
um 6,5 Prozent auf 29,8 Milliarden Yuan (4,60 Milliarden US-Dollar) gesteigert.
Der Absatz des Autoherstellers hielt knapp mit dem des gesamten chinesischen
Marktes mit und legte um fünf Prozent zu. Der Umsatz wuchs um 6,4 Prozent auf
670,5 Milliarden Yuan. Der Fahrzeugabsatz in China soll Erwartungen zufolge in

Toyota nimmt die Produktion in fast allen japanischen Werken wieder auf
Toyota wird den Hauptteil seiner Produktion in Japan ab dem 25. April
weiterführen. Nach einem Erdbeben musste der Autohersteller nahezu in jedem
Werk des Landes die Herstellung stoppen. Die Mitteilung kommt erst kurz nachdem
Toyota angekündigt hat, die komplette Produktion in Japan einzustellen, weil
die Beben zwei Werke des Zulieferers Aisin Seiki Co getroffen hatten.

Honda bringt grüne Clarity-Familie
Honda will sein Typenschild Clarity auf zwei weitere Fahrzeuge mit alternativem
Antrieb erweitern und sich wieder als dominanter Player in dem "grünen" Segment
behaupten. Das Clarity Fließheck mit Wasserstoffbrennstoffzelle soll Ende
dieses Jahres auf den Markt kommen, gefolgt von einem komplett elektrischen

Schaeffler vergrößert sein Werk in Ungarn
Die Schaeffler Gruppe baut ihr Werk im ungarischen Debrecen aus und erhöht
damit ihr Produktionsvolumen um etwa 50 Prozent. Das Familienunternehmen
investiert insgesamt rund 80 Millionen Euro in den Neubau. Hinzu kommen
Fördermittel der ungarischen Regierung. Die Grundsteinlegung ist noch für
diesen Sommer angesetzt und von Mitte 2017 an sollen schon die ersten Teile die

China's SAIC Motor has reported a 6.5 percent year-on-year increase in net
profit for 2015 to 29.8 billion yuan (4.60 billion dollars). The automaker's
sales roughly tracked the overall Chinese market, rising five percent. Revenues

Following a global sales record in 2015, Volvo plans to sell one million

Schaeffler to expand its plant in Hungary
Schaeffler Group is expanding its Hungarian Debrecen plant, raising the
production volume by about 50 percent. The family enterprise is investing about
80 million euros in the new construction. This amount will be supplemented by
public funds from the Hungarian government. The groundbreaking ceremony is set
to take place this summer, and the first parts are scheduled to leave the
