I am an expert at not reading the manual correctly. Maybe you can benefit from
my expertise. A few months ago I struggled with tones on an ICOM radio. After
reading the manual one more time I discovered that I had to hold the tone
button for at least 2 seconds to program them in the channel memory. It will
be something simple that you missed, I am sure.
