For weather info at Kingston Airport. listen to their continuous ATIS
serviceon 135.55 MHz. It is audible North of Wilton and in Elginburg so it
has good range. You get wind, cloud, ceiling, temperature, dew point and
Altimeter readings. They are renewed at least every hour between 0600 and
2300 daily.
Reports of bad weather, thunderstorms, etc are broadcast to pilots over a
relay of London  radio through Kingston on 123.55 MHZ.
If you do not cover the airband look at 451.7125 for a relay of flight
operations. I believe this is for their vehicles, plows etc.
Air ambulance can be heard on 129.275.
Marine weather Continuous Marine Broadcast is on 161.775 in this area. This
frequency alternates with 161.65 as you go along the great lakes and the
St.Lawrence. This service is 24/7 and continues in our area all winter.as
theferries keep running. It is often the case that warnings about bad
weatherappear here first. They cover Lake Erie and Lake Ontario so you get
some early warning.
