Hello Friends,

FYI, I am ramping up to again do some fun and some
serious flight
simulation. As you may recall from a couple years
ago, a group of us
had a lot of fun using 2 meters for comms (simplex or
via the repeater)
while undertaking serious flight simulation in
multiplayer mode over
the
internet.

There is a new version of Flight Sim and it has some
interesting new
features, including:

   * Ability to become an air traffic controller
   * Moving things on the ground like fuel trucks,
jetways, and
wildlife
   * Higher detailed landscape, cities, and airports
   * The multiplayer ability to fly in the other
cockpit seat, and
pass
control back and forth, including over the
internet!
   * A library of structured missions to test your
skills
   * The Garmin 1000 all-glass cockpit

I'm interested in possibly setting up a multiplayer
evening (like
Monday
nights at 8 pm) for multiplayer missions and
cross-country flights.
This might include simplex or repeater use for comms.
Do let me know
by direct email if and when you have an interest in
joining in, be it
for casual participation or otherwise.

Best of the season to you!
Peter
