[JYO] SQUAWK Codes REQUIRED for flight in ADIZ

Remember that SQUAWK codes are required in the ADIZ even if you are going to remain in the pattern.  Four pilots were "spoken to" at Leesburg today by US Customs for squawking "1200"

Get a briefing from FSS, Check all NOTAMS, and Contact Potomac Clearance Delivery on 118.55 BEFORE launching into the air.
