George - >Unless Carolyn plans to turn this into her life's work, wouldn't it be >easier to use File Manager to check the size of her fold0000.frm >(Inbox >folder) file just BEFORE and just AFTER she downloads her mail? ------ I tried decreasing Juno's window size to access the File Manager. Won't decrease. So I have to exit Juno to reach it. Had a devil of a time finding the right spots, but did eventually manage to see file names and sizes. At that point, I had over 130 messages in the Deleted folder for a total of zero bytes. I'm assuming everything was in RAM. This afternoon (I've lost yahoogroups again....), my download was as follows: 1880145 Inbox before the download, 112 messages and 2199473 after the download. Download of 319328, average 2851 bytes per message. To obtain those figures I had to exit Juno after downloading and before reading/deleting. ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
