There is a well-known tweak 'round here for these Juno email clients to allow one to move emails to and from ordinarily-forbidden folders [Outbox and Draft among them]. One might do this to avoid having to send email to oneself in order to perform any edits on received email [for example, to change the subject to what the email is really about, versus "digest xxx, etc" ;-) ]. The tweak is repeated in the next paragraph. In your USER folder, for example, C:\Program Files\Juno\USER0001, are the files used for Juno email folders. Director.frm [open it up in a text editor, WordPad, Word, etc.] tells you which file "foldXXXX.frm" is for what Juno folder. For example, Outbox is file fold0001.frm, as shown by the line "Outbox fold0001.frm 2 1" in my file "director.frm" for USER0001. If you were to change that line in director.frm from Outbox fold0001.frm 2 1 to Outbox fold0001.frm 1 1 you could view the Outbox from the Read screen. This is with Juno 4.11, but I believe it is about the same for 1.49, but not in Juno version 5. If you [from the Read screen] move an email into the Outbox for editing, you lose the original header, and also the correct display of any email which is html formatted. You could always copy and paste the header [choosing main or full by right clicking in email list and choosing "Show Headers" then "Main" or "Full" depending on the detail required] and the text [changed to plain text from html] from the email in the Read screen to the to-be-edited email in the Write screen -- that way you retain the original header and text content is visible. On the other hand, the better way I discovered [Doh!] is to FORWARD the email to yourself -- then you can edit the write screen and later move it from the Outbox to whichever folder in Juno, using the above tweak [or forward it to yourself and send, to get it back *without* installing the director.frm tweak]. When you *forward,* the header is shown [it is the main header form if you have chosen "Show Headers" and either "None" or "Main," and the full header form if you have chosen "Show Headers>Full"], and any html content becomes an attachment, which views correctly when you open it. Less possibility of missing something. [Note the original unedited email you forwarded from is still where it was, and might need deleting.] Some may think, what a big bunch of workaround, why bother? Others know that "Workaround" is the middle name of using Juno to best advantage :-).
