[JA] Dial up connection appears during download

Every once in a while, when I'm downloading Email via the Juno program
connection, my Dial Up Connection box appears on the screen. (I have it
set so I have to click on "connect' manually, to ensure it doesn't go on
line without my OK.
I'm wondering if this implies some message coming in is trying to "call
home" without my knowledge...but this is before the messages are
"processed" by Juno, (which happens after it disconnects at the
completion of a DL.)
