You can try processing the audio using Normallzation.
I believe it is unrder the Process / Audio pull down menu (don't have Sonar in
front of me now).

I made a recording of someone speaking via Skype but I didn't set the input
high enough. How do you amplify a track? You can only turn the volume up in the
volume column so much.
