To anyone who has pored all over a real Tiger Moth - Bones especially.
The P-type compass needle has a small cross bar at one end of the north-south
arm. What I want to know is which end of the needle points north. Is it the end
with the crossbar or is it the end that doesn't have anything on it at all
except what looks like a small fluorescent strip in the simulator versions of
the P type compass I have seen. Some simulated aircraft have the crossbar
pointing North and some have it pointing south.
