I find that a good malt, in sufficient quantity, makes me oblivious to most
things - including pain. And - Bones please note - taken before food it is
also an excellent prophylactic against tummy bugs.

If it makes you feel any better Fred the inevitable tummy bug arrived last

Corrrr OK for some, recommend a drink for back pain? Soaking up heat from a
hot water bottle and massage pad and a couple of walking sticks for assistance

The enterprising people of Madeira are to be applauded at their lovely
constructions and roads on this island but I wish they had discovered what
"flat" means. My feet don't half ache. I have to drink to ease the pain.
The Queen Victoria docked yesterday. Damn impressive ship but not as pretty as
the old QE 2.
