Ah yes, you were the unwilling victim for that painful process.. ;)
Luckily my external drive backed up all that work so when I got this new
machine I just copied it all back, without really looking through it all. There
are other repaints too in various stages of work and I’ll sift through that lot
in time.
Even with FSX running I know this would still have been a painfully slow
process so MCX has proved invaluable. I note that it has far more powerful
functions than just displaying repaints so I must look at the manual to see
what else it can do.
I am running FSX Deluxe Edition as installed straight from the DVD. I still
have to check to see what updates and tweaks are needed to make it work better.
It says it is fsx-sp2 (10.0.61472) so I hope that is reasonably up to date.

Hi Bones,
I remember working with you on these repaints a few years back. You didn't have
fsx installed, so you'd do some checkered textures and I'd load them into fsx
and send you screenshots. Then you'd tweak things and resend for more
screenshots. If I recall, they took a while! ModelConverterX makes it all so
much easier.

OK Peter.
In the meantime I have uploaded repaints of the FSX Cessna 208 and the
Bombardier CRJ700. As with the A321 the texture sets are basic so I can’t put
registrations on the wings. The differing scales of objects like doors also
make the stripes almost impossible to line up but I have blended these with
shading to reduce the appearance of zigzags..
I can see why I didn’t finish these two earlier. Again, without Model Conv X
these would have been a nightmare to work on..

On revisiting the repaints page I see I have been a little remiss on one
matter. I have not been completely uniform in adding credits to each repaint.
I have added the painter to most aircraft listed but I see gaps. If you have
sent me a repaint and it is missing appropriate credit please let me know and I
will correct it immediately.
