One of my biggest weaknesses when flying was recording my take-off and landing times. A bit of a pain when you need these to file a pirep I think you'd agree. So, to make things easier for myself, last year I bought a copy of FS Flight Keeper 3.01 (FSFK). It integrates well with FS with very little memory overhead and takes all the effort out of having to manually record those essential details - take-off time, landing time, fuel burn, TAS, and milage - making filing the pireps a doddle. But that's not the real point of this e-mail. One of the other functions FSFK provides is an ACARS function - both in the cockpit (via an add-on gauge) and potentially as a feed to a web site. I have configured it on my system to feed my web site with ACARS for my flights and also upload pirep details there - including maps! Needless to say, because it uses a feed from FS the ACARS is only active while I'm flying but when in use it will show details of where I am in relation to my filed flight plan and (on a separate page) where I am on a Google Map. FSFK also has a function which the author (Thomas Molitor) called Air-TV. It uploads screen shots at preset intervals during a flight- I've also configured this. You can get to them from: http://pwr-hull.org.uk/html/online_status.php If you want more details of FSFK then here's Thomas' site: http://www.molitor-home.de/fs/FLKeeper/default.asp Paul
