Hi Frank,

Its a matter of getting familiar with the way the panel.cfg file works.

After the initital block setting up the general parameters you will find a
list of gauges, each followed by a set of numbers. These numbers define the dispalyed size and position of each gauge in the panel. I suggest you start with a default panel, make a copy of this file, and then experiment. You can

do this while running FSX, to see the effect of the changes you need to
switch aircraft, to load the revised panel.

There are probably tutorials about playing with the panel.cfg file, have a
look for one of these. Once you get familiar with this you can have a lot of

fun.

It all sounds so easy, but complicated, you've lost me as soon as you
mention gauge moving and redesign.
I could plug in a second monitor, lose full screen mode, and have the
popups
on the second screen, basically extending the screen area. But as you say,
it hits the frame rates.

I would need a tutor standing over me explaining every step.
