Did the period where you were parked include dusk into night? If so there
have been other reports of this happening. One suggestion is that the
default buildings have an alpha layer which is 100% black. At night this
translates to transparency which is why the buildings disappear. The
solution is to import the night textures into an editor and change the alpha
layer to 75% black.

I have the habit of leaving the terminal on screen, at the end of my
bizjet flights. In several cases, one being today's Default Orly
airport, all the buildings disappear after a couple of hours, leaving
just my own and the AI aircraft.
Has anyone else potted this?
