windows media player question continued

Hi List:
I forget who it was that tried to answer my question regarding closing a
windows media player compatible file and being able to resume it at a later
point at the place left off at. Someone suggested control e but I tried
that and no dialog box or anything appeared. Do I have to do something else
as well or am I missing some other command to go along with this? Thanks.
