Steve, Nice to see your post. I think I know what you are asking. right now, I have a quick launch tool bar on my desk top which I can access by going to the desktop with windows key plus letter M. then from the desktop, i can tab over to this tool bar which has icons or buttons to launch AOL, IE other programs etc. to get rid of this tool bar, go to control panel and enter on task bar and start menue. you are now in a multi page dialogue box and on the task bar page which you should be in when you open this program, tab a number of times to where you will probably hear jaws say "show quick launch checked". uncheck this with the space bar, tab over to okay and get out of control panel. now this tool bar will be gone.
