GW,

Man, you have shown me the light, as have others. I constantly forget the power
of the context menu. I'll have to give that a try next time and save one heck
of a lot of extra steps!

Keep up the good knowledge.

Dave

  Dave,

I am talking a bit out of school since I still use Outlook Express, but in
other 2007 programs I've used, I can put focus on the selection I want to add
to the quick access tool bar and hit the applications key and arrow down to add
to quick access tool bar and enter. Voila. Alt H, up arrow once and your
selections should be there. I added delete rows and columns in Excel and my OCR
software in Word.

    Kirsten,

Creating a quick access is fiddly, but easy once you've done it a couple
times.

    1. With the message open, Press Alt to launch the ribbon.
    2. Shift tab until you hear customize quick access toolbar.
    3. Enter and then tab until you hear "more commands" (or use one of these
commands already showing).
    4. In this dialog press tab to a list and arrow to "all commands" to not
hide any.
    5. tab to the list and use first-letter navigation to find your command, in
this case "view in browser".
    6. tab to the add button and press.
    7. tab to the list and see your new quick launch at the bottom of a list.
the top is tied to number 1, and others 2, 3, etc.
    8. Use the up/down buttons to change the position of your new command as
desired.
    9. Press OK to get out.
    10. test by pressing alt then shift tab a couple times to the quick launch
toolbar. Your new command should be there, and announce the number to use.
    11. Press alt and then the number to launch the command.

The numbers to use are from the number row and not the num pad.

Oh how do you make it a custom access option as you've done?

The irony is, I found it last night on FS website - hence why I had it in
my head ... If anyone knows a way of stopping it altogether though I'd
appreciate it.

      Kirsten,

What a time-saver! Never thought to do this, but it really makes some
awful messages easier to read. This should be put at the top of tips and tricks
for JAWS with Outlook.

I've made a customized quick access button for this, so now it's even
easier to launch, and don't have to try and remember those multiple-key
combinations.

Alt H, X, V puts it into the browser which makes it easier.

        Hey folks,

I have forgotten the setting or keystroke to be able to read those
blamed tables which now seem to appear regularly in emails. I am using MS
Outlook 2007 and it is a royal pain in the posterior.
