speaking of yahoo mail thunderbird and jfw

is this a 3rd party program?
and if so then will it work better then outlook express?
I have so much trouble with AT&T mail, I guess outlook and AT&T yahoo's
servers don't like each other.
I've called them over 10 times.
So what is this thunderbird and is it free?
