sony laptop users n jaws

2 whomever can help:

I'm trying 2 setup my laptop were i can control my stero and tv using the 
computer.  however, jaws doesn't read any of the vaio screens such as:  
welcome, and life.  i tried the jaws cursor and still nothing.  
Any help is wanted, thanks.
