Hi Stephen,
Use windows key + the letter U,
to open the utility manager, where you can activbate narrator.
use the tab key to navigate the dialogue.

hello list - after experiencing jaws "crashing" with me a few times i find
myself wanting to learn about narrator to try and help me out with if
nothing else shutting my pc down jaws no longer works. one of the main
problems that i have is that i have found narrator but when i select it from
within the start menu it doesn't do anything and no icon comes up in the
taskbar. i have got a copy of relevant commands for narrator but i just
can't seem to be able to use them. any help on this matter would be great. i
am using windows xp home sp2 and jaws v5.1. thanks in advance. stephen
