remote assistance

Hi List:

 

I am having problems both extending and receiving a remote assistance
invitation.  I keep receiving a message saying invitation failed and the
like.  Anty ideas what that could be?  My internet security is set to medium
and my firewall is disabled.  Any ideas would be most appreciated.
