OK got quicken 2007 wokring in Vista, but I'm sure earlier today I saw some
scripts for 2006 but can't find them now.
Could someone point me in the right direction. Jaws 9 is wokring kind of but a
bit fidly so hope the 2006 scripts fix some of this as I assume JAWS 9 scripts
are for 2003 as stated in the help guide.

With Jaws 9 running, try launching deluserlex
The program just works without user interaction and I don't know why. It can
be found at, beg pardon,

OK, now that we got that outta the way: on to the issue:
I installed the Real Speak Solo voices. I should make it incredibly boldly
clear to you all: I did so: after! key? word: after! installing jfw9.
Well, now, the voices work fine in my jaws8 installation, however, if I go
to jaws9, then do the insert+ctrl+s to switch synthesizers, hit s for sapi5,
then hit enter to select it... I get MS Sam. Now, that's fine. That's all
good, and all, and correct, however, now watch this: I do insert+j, to
bring up the jaws menu. I have mine set in basics to run from the system
tray, as I can't stand it taking up an unneeded alt tabbable window on my
screen. Then I go to voices sub menu, and finally, global...
Now, in here, if I hit alt+s, to move focus to the person combo box, I only
hear just that: "Person: Combo Box." It doesxn't say Sam? or anything.
The JAWS Cursor shows nothing and neither does the invisible cursor. the PC
cursor deffinently doesn't. I had a sighted person look, and sure enough:
nothing's there. It doesn't even show Sam. I next closed out of there by
hitting escape, Then I went under control pannel, to speech...
In here I changed the default voice to one of the Solo voices, then went
back in. Again, no difference. Yes I did restart jaws after installing the
voices. That goes without saying. I repaired the voices with no go, and
even totally uninstalled, and even went into regedit and manually took out
the left over registry keys/values. I went under documents and
settings\user name\application data, and made sure everything there was
cleared out, which it was. I reinstalled real speak solo 4, from scratch
with no good. It's working flawlessly in jfw8, but not in 9. I figured
maybe perhaps spyware, now ware, or even a virus, so did a nod32 scan, and
an ad aware scan, and my system is clean as a button. I rebooted and then
tried with no luck. Same result. I've tried this both on my Gateway DX300S
desktop, and on my Dell Inspiron E1505/6400 system and in both cases was
able to reproduce this problem. I haven't tried doing an alt+say all, in
jaws 9, so I honestly dono... o... wait... I withdraw that! Yes I did too.
That's right, I remember now, I was on the phone with my friend, showing
him, and I tried, yeah, that's right... and it reverted to Sam. Yet, in
jfw8, Daniel came right on almost instantly. As you can probably judge from
my mail: Yes, I am an extremely! advanced pc user, as well as incredibly
advanced jaws user. In fact, for a while, I used to vollenteer work for the
state as a jaws instructer, so I deffinently know what I am doing. LOL!
Thank you so much. Any in-sight into this would be graciously be
apprecaited.
In friendship:
Chris Gilland.
