Judith, you need to append page 1 first, but before you append page 2 amke
sure you go to the end of the first appended page to append the second.

When working with appended text, which page shows up first when pasted
into the end document? For example, if you have page 1 and page 2, which
page do you append first so that they come out in order, page one and then
