problem with system security suite

Hi all!
I recently downloaded system security suite and checked all of the boxes
corresponding to the items that I wished to delete. I hit the clear selected
items button and got an access violation error. So I uninstalled it, restarted
my machine and installed it again. I even went so far as to clean my temp files
with disk cleanup so that no traces of the program would be found when I
reinstalled. The same thing happened. I am using Jaws 4.51 and windows XP
professional. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
