Jon,

thanks for your message. I thought of the numlock issue, but I think if
numlock were off, he'd just hear numbers and it wouldn't affect the arrow
keys. I have a hazy memory of seeing that there were problems running ie
5.0 with jaws 3.2.

I don't think jaws 3.2 does work with IE 5, figuring, when that was out,
they were still using IE 4.0, seems to me I tried that once too and had
problems, not to mention, jaws 3.2 and any internet explorer was quite
limited by today's standards. Could be numlock isn't off too but more then
likely it's just the interaction between IE 5 and Jaws 3.2, it was a while
ago, but I could swear I had a problem with that combination a few years
back and there were scripts out there to fix that though where they'd be now
is anybody's guess. There were also a lot of jaws patches, 1 or 2 that went
with that version as well that might have something to do with it, seems to
me 1 was to fix an IE problem but I think that was with 3.3, not 3.2 stuff
to try anyway.
