Somehow I missed that.  I did read the what's new.

Anyway, it is one of the things I like about version 8.

I can now use my multimedia keyboard volume and transport buttons while an MSAA control is active without having to switch to another application. I also don't have to stop
reading in any document while changing volume any more.  It use to be that
those buttons would make jaws announce letters like b and c and stop talking.
But now I have control without stopping or pausing Jaws.
