Hah. Well, file backups won't do me any good if I can't access my computer
in this case. And I don't have a Pac Mate. So I'd say that the tape
recorder is the only way for me to go on something like this. You didn't
really mean that you'd put Narraotr insturctions on a CD or diskette that
you wouldn't be able to access if Jaws went down, did you?I'll bet you have
more than one computer at your disposal. Right? So that's what I need to
do. Get myself a second computer so they can't both crash. I would hope...

what I do is, firstly, I put all important computer notes in a folder,
and? then? after each week or so, I back them up on a CD. some of the stuff,
I just have in memory, off the top of my head.
other stuff, I put on my Pac Mate. I do a little support training, so I like
to give my clients, access to some good notes.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. But I'll need to remember to pick up an
extra tape for the minicassette player/recorder so that I don't record
telephone numbers over the information.

Hi Daniel. I usually put those kinds of instructions on my little digital
recorder and before that, I would put them on a small cassette recorder so I
can get to them without problems.
