JAWS dictionary manager, the dictionary specific to MSN Messenger. It has,
in my opinion, gone way overboard in its attempt to expand abbreviations.

There's a setting in the MSN dictionary for the letters, im. or what it calls immediate message, not sure why it's called that. but if you delete that dictionary entry you should be fine.
