It was just an observation that I discovered this morning. Using the example that I sent in the earlier Email it simply stated that if you looked for three things (for example) they would all be there when you hit alt f the fourth time and you could arrow up and down in your other finds and if one of those items is the one you wanted to search for you could just press enter on it without entering anything else in the dialogue box. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Jenkins" <saveup@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

More appropriate subject line. What does the clipboard have to do with the
multiple choices of most find dialog boxes.

Subject: observation about clip board

I'm not re-opening a very long thread but wanted to share some innformation
that I discovered about the clipboard. Let's say that two finds ago you
were looking for the name "Susan". After that you were looking for the word
"cat" and right after that you were searching for the phrase "Went to the
store". On your next search you can arrow up and down to find the word
"Susan" and, if this is what you want to search for, you can press enter and
will land on that name. Judith
