I had a similar problem, except I had Windows 98 and a disk for the 
display drivers that refused to load onto the computer.  In the Programs 
Menu was SiS Multimedia and in Sis Multimedia was a setup.  I ran this 
setup and it all came together.  This may not help, but I thought it was 
worth a suggestion.
