Someone did reply but perhaps you missed the post. Go to your Word window,
press Insert-6 (on the number row not on the numpad), press Alt-S to go into
Set Options, press T to go into text processing, shift-tab back several times
and you will see 4 options to turn off the new-line announcement. Make sure
they are all unchecked. If they are all unchecked and you are still getting
the new-line announcement, this sounds like a bug in your version of JAWS. You
would need to contact technical support. Hope this helps.
