Sigate is fairly good as far as 'speech friendly' goes, however it also 
isn't a very complete firewall. I, personally, use Norton Interneet 
Security, which provides several levels of firewall protection including 
spam detection. I haven't had a problem with either, but it comes down to 
whether you want to pay for additional features of greater benefit or 
simply go for the free program.
