thank you john, but remember that many users are in an office situation and often have technical support, I know many who do. I do not know how many Jaws users there are of course, they are not Shareholders of a product ,if they were you could get a list of them all and vote of course! I once had to contact a well known organisation in London on behalf of another person. It was called action for the Blind. In conversation with a manager,I decided to ask him a technical question on my behalf. He said "we have 7 computers all identical all using same version of Jaws ,but 2 of them had a problemthe in house engineer had gone over in detail but couldnot find anything wrong. I
said they cannot be identical then, but he insisted they were, he was what is called a "line manager,, I am trying to say some things may be logical, some illogical and that seems to be how computers are and you will not see that on lists of course thanks Dorothy----- Original Message ----- From: "john.falter" <john.falter@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Why can't they just leave well enough alone? What are they going to break in JAWS 12? That's why I'm still using JAWS 9. I refuse to pay for an SMA only to wind up with a program that's full of bugs. Gerald----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Moore" <donmoore@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, July 11, 2010 4:31 PM Subject: latest build of JAWS 11Hi List, I installed the latest build of JAWS 11 when it came out recently, but I noticed a problem with Microsoft Office Word 2007. When in a Word document, whenever I used the Backspace key to delete character by character, JAWS would read the first character being deleted, then say Space when deleting the second character, then it would read the third character being deleted, but say Space when deleting the fourth character, and the pattern continued. I decided to uninstall that latest build, namely J11.0.1461-32bit and I re-installed the previous build, namely J11.0.1447-32bit and everything works fine again. I am using Windows XP, Home edition. Any thoughts on this?
