Hi Chip,
I am using jfw on the c drive of the machine with the startup problem.
I am using the run jaws first option.
No passwords are enabled, the machines are all plugged into a router and =
the router gives access to the net and network.

I too have this at work and have no delay.
Are you having jaws start via it's option to "have jaws run at startup?"
or are you starting it some other way?
Are you using a version of jaws on the pc or from a network server?
