jfw skipping lines

Hello,
I have a friend with an older computer running Windows 98 and using JFW
3.7, who is trying out for a job which requires her to check out obits in a
number of newspapers. However, when she uses the up and down arrows to
double check certain facts or to move on to the next entry, Jaws is
skipping a number of lines.
She has called FS who walked her through her video options and all are
now set to optimun settings.
If she gets the job, her employer will get her a new computer, but this is
a competitive placement and if she can't perform very well on this test,
she won't get the position.
She has good computer skills and has used computers for years on her
previous job, but when the company went out of business, she had to begin
looking for another position.
If she can just get the arrow keys to read the on line newspaper
properly, she feels that she has an excellent chance at the position.
Now come on jaws users, give some serious thought to helping your fellow
jaws user to have a chance at obtaining that job by solving the blank
line problem.
