Or move the keys to a key that is not being used by any thing like =

Perhaps you might try this. While in Word, and if you have a hot key =
set up
to pause Winamp, assuming there is a JAWS key conflict, press insert 3 =
(on=20
the number row) to bypass JAWS so you can then pause Winamp.
