HI
I noticed something weird. Whenever my modem goes on to dial up jaws
stutters. When I click the icon on my desktop that dials up, jaws says:
dialing; cancel button; but why does it speak with so much stuttering? The
modem makes a clicking sound when it dials and the moment it makes that
clicking sound and jaws talks, jaws stutters a lot. When the modem is
dialing and I press insert+up arrow for instance jaws says cancel button
without stuttering. Its only that second when the modem clicks to dial that
jaws stutters a lot. If I'm correct, if the modem makes that clicking
sound its picking up the phone so to speak the same as if I would pick up
the hand set to make a call. Can it be that the modem takes up a lot of
memory? Or does the modem interfere with the functioning of the synthesizer?
