What are you doing before it freezes up? Is it a pattern when this happens? An example of a "pattern" is repeatedly tapping the arrows keys in a quick fashion. Have you tried to run a repair in JAWS to see if that would fix the problem? Are your drivers for your external synthesizers/Braille devices up to date? I had a similar issue with a Triple Talk USB. The issue wasn't with JAWS, but with its drivers. I was unable to locate newer drivers than what is on the Access Solutions website, but I'm thinking it may be related to not having USB 2.0 on this machine. I uninstalled it for the time being, and now I don't have that problem anymore. -------------------- Do you want to know about new products when they come out? Hi Jack, Ya know since I upgraded to Jaws 6.0 I'm experiencing the same problem. This never happened with previous versions of Jaws. I am now also using a Braille display with version 6 and I've noticed that Jaws and my Braille display freeze up simultaneously while in OE as well. Wonder if it could be the blank lines, and if anyone else is having this problem?
