jaws eight not saying percent of page loading

Hi list, I have had a problem and I can't figure out how to fix it.
When I want to load a web page jaws eight does not tell me the percent of the
page loaded.
I have tried everything i can think of even a repair to jaws.
This didn't help at all.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
