Esperanto is spoken by 1.6 million people. In most European countries, if you request it, you can get reading material in Esperanto. Studies performed with children find that, if the school includes Esperanto as part of language studies, the children will learn other languages more easily. The alphabet is 28 letters and five vowels. It sounds somewhat like Spanish.
