There's a setting for this in the Jaws configuration manager. Insert-6 to open configuration manager then alt-s to bring up settings, t for Text Processing...then tab six times to get to Language detection. This is checked by default, so if you uncheck it this is what you want? Personally I find language detection to be a real pain because I load a web page that's British English and suddenly eloquence has a British accent and I have trouble understanding that...(no offense intended for British folks)...it's just that I'm not accustomed to hearing Eloquence speak in British English. My solution is that whenever I do a new install of Jaws I always uncheck all the Eloquence languages.
