jaws 9 and live messenger

Heya folks,
A strange quirky with running Jaws 9 and windows live messenger sometimes
like 50/50 whenever I send a message in a chat sometimes Jaws will speak my
name and message other times its dead quiet, this doesn't happen in Jaws 8.
Does anybody else have this twilight zone issue?
I get so annoyed with Freedom scientific as they are bringing out new
version numbers for us to pay for but not giving us many free updates to fix
there problems, I mean a newer version not doing or having a bug that the
previous version doesn't have is just not right In my book, I bet Jaws 10
fixes up this little glitch but again its another version I need to pay for
as my SMA's expired at version 9
